Education
Dr. Leo brings over two decades of experience in the field of dentistry. He began his career in Brazil, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and completed his orthodontic residency in 2006. From 2002 to 2021, he owned a private practice and served as Lead Orthodontist at Mediterraneo Odontologia Moderna in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
In 2021, Dr. Leo moved to the United States to further his education. He attended the University of Rochester, where he completed his AEGD degree in 2023. Since then, he has been practicing orthodontics in Richmond, VA. We are incredibly thrilled to have Dr. Leo on the Dominion Orthodontics team!
Family and Community
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Leo enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring new destinations, watching movies, and following various sports, including soccer, NFL, NBA, and NASCAR racing. He is also fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.
Dr. Mei will continue to provide the exceptional care you have come to expect, and with the addition of Dr. Leo, we look forward to the fresh perspectives and expertise he will bring to our practice.
